Admissions - Key Dates

Apply Any Time

Rolling admissions at TBS allows families to apply year round. Many families apply a year ahead of when they expect to enroll.

Note: There are times that we would have to waitlist students. All things equal, the date on your application helps.

Important Dates

 Wednesday, April 11, 2018

  • Common Reply Date for offers of enrollment for all schools that are members of HAIS (Houston Area Independent Schools)

Returning Students

  • Contract Deadline - Thursday, February 1, 2018
  • Student contracts are due on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Payment of the enrollment fee billed to the parent's FACTS account in February 2017 secures a place for the 2017-2018 school year. 

New Students

  • Application fee for new students is due with the application.

September 2017 Community Open House Event
Thursday, September 28, 2017   10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4:30-6:30 p.m. - STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Night 5:00-6:30 p.m.

January 2018 Community Open House Event
Saturday, January 20, 2018 2-4 p.m.

What happens during the tour:

  • Visit with Admissions Coordinator for overview of school and programs
  • Building tour
  • Outdoor Classroom tour includes environmental education
  • Peek in Classrooms when available and does not interfere with the teaching program
  • Short visit with classroom teacher if available
  • Meeting the Head of School if available (Once you apply, schedule a visit with the Head of School to make sure you have all your questions answered. Often this is scheduled during your child's classroom visit.)
