History ALIVE Week

This week, history comes alive for our students when they go back in time with guest speakers from the DRT (Daughters of the Republic of Texas) and their "discovery trunk." Also, artifacts from around the world will be exhibited to give students a glimpse of ancient cultures. Friends, families, and guests are encouraged to join us for our Thursday family night from 5:30-7:00. There will be plenty of hands-on activities which allow participants to explore the world's history timeline. On Friday, we end the week's festivities with our Go Texan Day event. Activities include speakers from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and a tasty chili cook-off for the classes.
