Parade of Nations

For our Parade of Nations, the students decorated a blank flag and sash for their country. American students were able to choose a country of their ancestors, or they could choose the United States, Texas or any other state that was appropriate. The sash included any relevant pictures or facts about the country or state. This included a motto, animal, symbol, industry, major exports, etc. In this way, we were all able to learn about other places in the world, including native homes of our students!
