Visiting Author, Meg Welch Dendler, Presents to Students


Visiting author, Meg Welch Dendler, presented to Kindergarten through Middle School students on January 9, 2014. Meg is an award-winning author, a former elementary and middle school teacher, and a freelance writer with over 100 articles in print. She spoke about her first two books in the Cats in the Mirror middle grade science fiction/fantasy series where she imagines that her own house full of rescue cats discover that they are aliens, were published in 2013. The author shared her interesting experiences about writing the books based on her adventures with her own cats and the process of publishing the books. During each class presentation she answered questions, heard from the students, and signed copies of books that were purchased.
