Keeping in Touch

Regular Communications from the School

Parents receive regular communications from the school in the following ways:

• The Bear Facts (TBF) - TBF is our once-a-month electronic newsletter that informs our parents about upcoming events and other important information.  In addition, email updates are sent throughout the month, as needed.
• Bear Crossing - This is our ongoing communication tool through our Moodle site (an Interactive Learning Environment) where teachers are in touch with students and parents about upcoming events, homework assignments, etc.
• Teacher Newsletters - Once a month, the teachers write a newsletter and post it to the Bear Crossing Moodle site.  This newsletter informs parents of what the students have been learning.

Parent Communications with the School

• Parents are encouraged to be in touch with their child's teacher via email with any questions or concerns. 
• If your child will be absent from school, please notify both your child's teacher and Lindsey, the Office Manager, via email.

The school needs to be kept up-to-date with all of our families' addresses and phone numbers.  If you move or change phone numbers, please be sure to notify the school right away.  You may either email Lindsey or you may call the school at 713.465.0288 to update your information.
