The accompanying video regarding environmental education at The Branch School was shown at the 2005 Houston Audubon Society gala at River Oaks Country Club. The school was presented with the Lucie Wray Todd Environmental Education Award “in recognition of the school’s passionate dedication to conservation education.” Over 500 guests were present at the gala, including many corporate leaders and community philanthropists.

The video features an interview with our previous Head of School, Bill Cheney, and two of our dedicated Outdoor Classroom volunteers, Ann Hightower and Laurie Waller. You will also see Branch School children learning while enjoying nature.
